Itinerary Description

This safari offers exciting and fantastic game viewing opportunities in a Sabi Sand Private Game Reserve in South Africa, two nights in Livingstone and ends with three nights in the Lower Zambezi, Zambia. Activities include day and night game drives plus adventures such as walking safaris, mountain biking, horseback riding and village visits. In Livingstone, enjoy a variety of activities from your luxury lodge located directly on the Zambezi River.

Day by Day Itinerary

Day 01+02

USA/Johannesburg

Depart the USA on your overnight flight to Johannesburg. On arrival you will be met and transferred to your airport hotel. Overnight African Rock Hotel.

Day 03

Sabi Sand Private Game Reserve

This morning you will be transferred back to the airport for your scheduled flight to the Skukuza Airport. On arrival you will be transferred to the Savanna Private Game Reserve. Enjoy an afternoon game drive. Overnight Savanna Lodge.

Day 04+05

Sabi Sand Private Game Reserve

Enjoy two full days of game viewing. A typical day begins at around 5:45 am with early morning tea or coffee, followed by a game drive. Return to camp for a hearty brunch or breakfast. Relax by the pool or in your comfortable lodge until afternoon tea. This is then followed by a late afternoon drive continuing into a night game drive, when you begin the search for nocturnal creatures. Dinner usually takes place in the boma around a camp fire under the stars where you can talk about your wildlife sightings of the day. 2 nights Savanna Lodge.

Day 06+07

Victoria Falls (Zambia)

This morning you will transfer to the Skukuza Airport for your scheduled inter-Africa flight to Mpumalanga Airport and onward flight to Livingstone, Zambia. On arrival you will be met and transferred to your lodge. Enjoy two days of activities. There are so many exciting activities included in your stay: Sunrise & sunset boat cruises, visit to the Zambian side of the Falls (visit to the Zimbabwean side of the Falls in low water season excluding visa fees), canoeing safari, rhino walk, game drives in MosiMosi-oa -Tunya National Park, catch & release fishing (not available in December due to breeding season), gym and spa (additional fees apply). 2 nights Thorntree River Lodge.

Day 08

Lower Zambezi

Today you will transferred to the Livingstone Airport for your scheduled inter-Africa flight to Lusaka. Onward scheduled inter-Africa flight to the Jeki airstrip. On arrival you will be met and transferred to camp. Enjoy an afternoon/night game drive. Overnight Lolebezi.

Day 9+10

Lower Zambezi

Enjoy two days of activities which include morning and afternoon game drives, canoeing safari, walking safaris, catch & release shore fishing, boating, spa (additional fees apply) and yoga deck. Enjoy two days of game viewing activities. 2 nights Lolebezi.

Day 11+12

Lower Zambezi/Lusaka/Johannesburg/USA

Following breakfast, transfer to the Jeki airstrip. Board your scheduled scheduled inter-Africa flight to Lusaka and onward connecting flight to Johannesburg. Onward connecting international flight. Welcome Home!
