A deluxe lodge or tented camp, almost all with swimming pools, excellent food and service, large nicely appointed rooms or tents with comfortable beds and tasteful decor; most of the lodges have air-conditioning and the tents are usually fan-cooled.
Phinda Vlei Lodge is located on the edge of the wetlands and has six suites on stilts, each with its own plunge pool and en suite facilities. Pan-African cuisine is served on the game-viewing decks or in dramatic bush setting near the lodge. The lodge is located within the Phinda Private Game Reserve in the northern part of KwaZulu-Natal Activities include game viewing by vehicle, boat cruises, black rhino tracking at Mkuze and game walks.
