4 Day| Ziga School Children in the Wilderness near Hwange
We have been supporting the Children in the Wilderness Community project for over 8 years where you are based outside Hwange National Park at Ziga School, Zimbabwe. Your time is spent assisting in the classroom teaching English, enhancing the computer curriculum, and helping with school projects like building education & health facilities in and around the local community. A perfect place to spend a few days volunteering with family and friends. The goal is to work with education in the community projects,that work hand in hand to preserve this unprotected area of Hwange as a vital wildlife eco-system. This is for the long term goal of aiding sustainable eco-tourism.
(Day 01) *Ziga* [Depart from Victoria Falls or Hwange to Ziga school. Overnight Camping in school grounds.]
(Day 02+03) *Ziga* [Introduction to Children in the Wilderness project field manager and continue with community based development projects including Ziga school and village community service. Two nights camping in school grounds.]
(Day 04) *Ziga* [Return to Hwange or Victoria Falls.]
Fly to Hwange, Mana Pools and magnificent Victoria Falls. Stay in permanent tented camps. True adventure activities include game drives, game viewing by boat (canoeing is seasonal), and morning walks. Optional white-water rafting!

Travel to three areas of Zimbabwe focusing on two World Heritage sites, Mana Pools and Matobo Hills. You are staying in smaller accommodations that we feel will offer some of our most intimate guiding experiences as they are all owner-run.

Victoria Falls is approximately 5600 feet wide, twice the height of Niagara Falls, and one and one half times as wide. It is divided into five separate waterfalls: Devil's Cataract, Main Falls, Horseshoe Falls, Rainbow Falls and Eastern Cataract, ranging in height from 200-355 feet.

8 Day - Wild Dog in Mana Pools Bushlife Conservancy Project
Spend a week in Mana Pools participating with the Bushlife Conservancy. Donate your time to record elephant sightings and perhaps track wild dog, supporting their ongoing work with the Painted Dog Research program.
On our Mother Africa Voluntourism trip to Zimbabwe, you will spend 8 days on this project which arises from the truly magnificent ecological surroundings. The community project will be spent helping out in the villages, schools and orphanage near Matobo Hills, Bulawayo. Zimbabwe is also a country rich in wildlife and a further few days will be spent in the conservation field of Hwange National Park.
