The uniqueness of this trip arises from the combination of truly magnificent ecological surroundings coupled with the nature of the local communities around Matobo and Hwange. For clarification, a VolunTourism trip implies that there is a tourism element combined with local communities, conservation projects and a traditional safari. In Matobo Hills Mother Africa was established as a cross-cultural exchange of tourism assisting communities around Amalinda. In Hwange, the Children in the Wilderness organization has established a grassroots network with the Ngamo and Ziga communities around Hwange. On safari engage in presentations from researchers in the field – rhino, wild dog, lion and cheetah studies. In Zimbabwe you find a country rich in wildlife and pris tine ecological surroundings.
