Itinerary Description

This safari highlights the very best of Southern Africa! Begin in Botswana’s Chobe National Park with some exciting game viewing opportunities by boat. Continue to Victoria Falls and Cape Town where you have a chance to explore these scenic places. A private guide and vehicle has been included for two days of touring in Cape Town. End at a Private Game Reserve near Kruger National Park where you will enjoy morning and night game drives and a chance to see the Big Five.

Day by Day Itinerary

Day 01+02

USA/Johannesburg

Depart USA on your overnight flight to Johannesburg. Overnight African Rock Hotel.

Day 03+04

Chobe National Park

Board your scheduled flight to Kasane, Botswana. Clear Customs and then proceed to your lodge in Chobe. Safari activities at include 4×4 game drives, boat cruises along the Chobe River, night drives, and cultural visits to local villages. 2 nights Muchenje Safari Lodge or Chobe Elephant Camp or Ngoma Safari Lodge.

Day 05+06

Victoria Falls

Transfer across the border by vehicle to Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe. Enjoy the days at leisure. Optional touring can be arranged. 2 nights Ilala Lodge or Victoria Falls Hotel.

Day 07-09

Cape Town

Today you will fly from Victoria Falls to Cape Town. Enjoy the use of a private vehicle and guide for two full days to take you where and when you want to go. 3 nights Victoria & Alfred Hotel or Mount Nelson Hotel.

Day 10-12

Skukuza/Private Game Reserve

You will be collected and transferred to the airport. Depart on the scheduled inter-Africa flight to Skukuza. On arrival, you will be met and transferred to your camp in the Sabi Sands private game reserve near Kruger. Days of morning and night drives, 3 nights Savanna Lodge or MalaMala Camp or Kirkman’s Kamp.

Day 13+14

Skukuza/Johannesburg/USA

Depart on the scheduled inter-Africa flight to Johannesburg. Continue onward overnight to the USA. Welcome home!
