Off the Mainland of Mozambique is the Bazaruto Archipelago which includes the islands of Bazaruto, Benguerra and Margaruque. Further north is the Quirimbas Archipelago very near the southern Tanzania coast. The island lodges have a barefoot-type atmosphere with lovely beaches and a host of activities. The islands are home to 140 bird species including flamingos and pelicans. There is a wide variety of sea life including humpback whales, turtles, manta rays, dolphins and dugongs. It is a diver's and fisherman's paradise!

  • Fly to Benguerra, Bazaruto or Pemba Island, Mozambique. Onward transfer to your lodge. Activities include free wind-surfing, catamaran sailing, kite-flying and ocean ski paddling. Water-skiing is available at extra expense. Snorkeling is accessible from the lodge at the Home Reef and Aquarium. Further dive sites for snorkeling and scuba involve extra expense to transfer by boat. Other excursions available at extra cost include Pansy Island, the snorkel adventure to the two mile reef, a road trip tour of the island, and the dhow sunset cruise. Overnight Marlin Lodge, Benguerra Lodge, Azura Lodge, Indigo Bay or Vamizi Island.
