Itinerary

• Day 01+02:
• Depart USA on your overnight flight to Johannesburg. On arrival you will be met and transferred by vehicle to your airport hotel. Overnight Southern Sun O. R. Tambo International Airport.

• Day 03-05:
• Fly to Maun, Botswana. On arrival you will connect with a scheduled flight to your first camp. On arrival you will meet up with Brooks Kamanakao. Activities include guided walks and game drives on a private game viewing area as well as access to the famous Deception Valley. Optional excursions to visit local Bushmen are also offered. Enjoy two days of game viewing. 3 nights Kalahari Plains Camp.

• Day 06+07:
• Scattered Stone Age tools reveal the history of this ancient African superlake while engravings left by the explorers David Livingstone and Frederick Courtney Selous, in the trunks of ancient baobabs, mark their passage so many years ago. In the wet months a warm shallow layer of water entices breeding colonies of hundreds and thousands of flamingo and the thundering herds of the great migration with thousands of wildebeest, zebra and springbok bringing the predators in their wake. Enjoy a day of activities including a bushman experience. 2 nights Mobile Tented Camp.

• Day 08-10:
• Depart by scheduled charter flight to your next camp in Khwai on the eastern most branch of the Okavango. While based in this private concession area, you may visit a nearby village and also take some walking excursions as well as night game drives. An optional boat ride may be arranged. Enjoy two days of activities. 3 nights Khwai Discoverer Camp.

• Day 11-14:
• Scheduled charter flight transfer to your camp situated in the Linyanti Reserve. Within the Linyanti-Savute concession area you have an opportunity to spend many hours watching the elephant herds and the large variety of wildlife in and around the waters of the Linyanti River. Activities include day and night game drives, boat rides on the Linyanti River, and time in the game hides. Enjoy three full days of game viewing activities. 4 nights DumaTau Camp.

• Day 15+16:
• After breakfast, you will fly by scheduled charter flight to Maun. On arrival take a scheduled flight to Johannesburg. On arrival you will connect with your flight to USA. Welcome home!
