9 Day Flying Extension Safari to Southern Zambia - $6,495.00

This safari is designed to explore two of Zambia's major rivers, the Kafue and the Zambezi. It is for the adventurer who would like to be active when viewing the various species of game including the "Big 5" of rhino, elephant, buffalo, lion and leopard. But more importantly the Big 5 of antelope species, a few unique of Zambia. These include the Kafue lechwe, the puku, sable, roan and Lichtenstein's hartebeest. There will be opportunities to view game by vehicle, on foot or by canoe.

Day 01
Fly to Kafue. There you will be met at the airport and transferred to your camp. Activities include walks, day and night game drives, canoeing and boating. Overnight Lunga River Lodge.
Day 02-04
Drive further north through the park to the Busanga Plains and marshes in the north have a greater number and variety of wildlife species. Activities include night and day game drives. 3 nights Busanga Bush Camp, Kapani Safari Lodge or Shumba Bush Camp.
Day 05-08
After an early morning game viewing activity and breakfast you will board your scheduled charter flight to Jeki Airstrip in the Lower Zambezi National Park. On arrival you will be met and transferred to your camp. You can explore the park both from vehicles and boating activities on the river. Enjoy three days of game viewing activities. 4 nights Sausage Tree Camp or Chiawa Camp.
Day 09
After a final early morning game viewing activity and breakfast you will transfer to Jeki Airstrip for your scheduled flight to Lusaka. Onward travel home.
