You will be traveling in a small group (8) with the same highly qualified gudie throughout. For those traveling in June, July and November you have a stay 3/pay 2 special. To maximise guests' travel time, a variety of transport modes that bring out the best of each area is used: flying in private charter and overland transfers provide both a birds-eye view and an indepth experience of the contrasting landscapes of Kafue. It is for the adventurer who would like to be active when viewing the various species of game - but more importantly the Big 5 of antelope species, a few unique to Zambia. These include the Kafue lechwe, the puku, sable, roan and Lichtenstein's hartebeest. Game viewing will include traditional game drives in open vehicles, walking safaris as well as canoeing and boating.

  • Upon arrival at Lusaka airport connect with your group's charter flight to Kafue National Park. Your private guide will meet you at the airstrip in Kafue and game drive enroute to Lufupa Camp. Overnight Lufupa Tented Camp.

  • Enjoy a day of game viewing activities. Lufupa Tented Camp.

  • Day 03+04
  • Depart early this morning on a game drive/transfer to your next camp located in the Busanga Plains, which have a greater number and variety of wildlife species. Overnights Musanza Tented Camp.

  • Day 05+06
  • Depart early this morning on a game drive/transfer to your next camp located in north eastern Busanga Plains, which is the heart of the Plains ecosystem. Overnights Busanga Bush Camp.

  • Day 07
  • After an early breakfast, the group will transfer by road back to Lufupa to enjoy a final night. Night drives provide the added excitement of the nocturnal wonders of the area. Overnight Lufupa Tented Camp.

  • This morning you will be transferred to the airstrip for your charter flight to Lusaka, where your group safari ends.
