A privately guided canoe safari takes you through the wild Zambezi River. You will paddle your way past crossing elephants and hippo pools while other game wanders to the river throughout the day. During meal stops you may take short walks that can get you within 10 feet of elephant. Each evening your camp is set up for you on the banks of the Zambezi enjoying excellent meals, cocktails, and breath-taking scenery with your own professional guide. Day 01
Arrive Mana Pools National Park, Drive to launch canoes and paddle a shortways down river, overnight Mana Pools Mobile Tented Camp.
Day 02+03
A typical day of your canoeing safari will begin at dawn. Tea and coffee are served before setting off on the river to view the sun rising over the Zambezi. After approximately one hour of canoeing, you will stop at a site for breakfast, cooked by your guide. Then you may take a short walk and/or game drive. The rest of the day is spent canoeing downstream, game viewing by foot or vehicle, bird watching, or fishing, you will cover approximately 15 miles in total. Lunch and cold drinks are taken along. At dusk, you will arrive at your next campsite where the camp will already be set up. 2 nights Mobile Tented Camp.
Day 04
Finish your canoe safari and return to the airstrip for your onward charter flight transfer.
