Itinerary

• Day 01
• Travel.
• Day 02
• Connect with your flight to Kilimanjaro, Tanzania. On arrival you will be transferred to your hotel. Overnight Mountain Village.
• Day 03+04
• Enjoy the morning at leisure. After lunch, you will depart on your safari and continue to Lake Manyara National Park which is most famed for its tree climbing lions that may be seen (if you are very lucky) sleeping amongst the branches of acacia trees. Next morning enjoy a game drive into Lake Manyara National Park. 2 nights Kirurumu Camp.
• Day 05-07
• Proceed to Serengeti National Park through the vast African plains, game viewing on the way. Enjoy two full days of game viewing using your camp as a base. One morning you may take an optional balloon safari. The days of game viewing are very flexible. You can take a packed breakfast and leave at sunrise. You can depart after breakfast and go for the whole day with a picnic lunch. 3 nights Serengeti Private Mobile Tented Camp.
• Day 08+09
• Continue to Ngorongoro Crater stopping en route at Oldupai Gorge for a visit to Richard Leakey's Museum & Archeological Site where traces of early man were unearthed. Next morning depart after breakfast, descending 2000 feet by four wheel drive vehicle for a morning of game viewing on the crater floor. Following lunch at your lodge, visit a remote Masai village. 2 nights Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge.
• Day 10
• Return to Arusha by lunch and onward transfer to your base Lodge. This evening you will have a climb briefing. Overnight Kibo Hotel.
• Day 11-15
• 5 nights Mt Kilimanjaro Climb- Rongai Route Overnight Forest Edge Camp, overnight Kikelewa Caves Camp, overnight Mawenzi Tarn Camp, overnight School Camp, overnight Horombo Camp.
• Day 16
• Descend through open moorlands and the glades of forest to Mweka village. Transfer to your hotel. Overnight Mountain Village.
• Day 17+18
• Your safari finishes today. Day at leisure. Optional touring available: N’giresi Village Cultural Tour, Tenguru School and Village, City Tour and Shopping or Arusha National Park. A dayroom has been reserved until your evening departure. Dayroom: Mountain Village.
