This cross-section explores the dunes of Sossusvlei and the Namib Desert, the stark beauty of the Skeleton Coast, amazing marine life just off Swakopmund and the game-filled savannah of Etosha. This small (8 people) group, scheduled safari covers great distances by vehicle and finishes with scheduled charter flight access to the Skeleton Coast.   • Day 01+02
  • Travel. Arrive in Johannesburg and connect to your onward flight to Windhoek, Namibia. On arrival you will be met and transferred to your guest house. Overnight The Olive Grove.
  • Day 03+04
  • From Windhoek, travel by road. En route enjoy a lunch in a private area overlooking the Khomas Hochland escarpment onto sweeping vistas below. Activities include nature walks and drives to scenic viewpoints. 2 nights Kulala Wilderness Camp.
  • Day 05+06
  • Travel north-west via the Kuiseb Canyon with its dark, craggy canyons and via a lunar landscape of flat gravel plains (with stops along the way including visiting the extraordinary Welwitschia plants). Continue via Aonin to explore the ice-blue Atlantic coast, from the port towns of Walvis Bay and Swakopmund to its incredible marine mammals. 2 nights Hansa Hotel.
  • Day 07
  • Travel up to the legendary Skeleton Coast to see the Cape Cross seal colony with thousands of breeding Cape Fur seals. Activities include explorations by foot, by bike or 4x4 vehicle. Overnight Damaraland Camp.
  • Day 08+09
  • Depart by road to the nearby concession of Palmwag. Camp activities on offer are rhino tracking on foot or by vehicle, night drives and full day outings (with a picnic lunch) on the concession. 2 nights Desert Rhino Camp.
  • Day 10+11
  • Travel by road to Etosha National Park, where you experience the pinnacle of game viewing from the privacy of an exclusive bush camp situated on an extensive private game reserve. Activities include day and night drives, walks and game viewing from hides. 2 nights Ongava Tented Camp.
  • Day 12-14
  • Fly to the Skeleton Coast National Park. You will leave camp each morning after breakfast and spend a full day exploring the park in 4x4 Land Rovers. A visit to the nomadic Himba people can be included as well as a drive north to the seal colony. 3 nights Skeleton Coast Research Camp.
  • Day 15
  • Say Farewell to the adventure as you return by air charter to Windhoek returning late afternoon. Overnight The Olive Grove.
  • Day 16+17
  • Morning at leisure. Departure transfer to the airport for your onward flight to Johannesburg and onward overnight flight home.
