  • Day 01-03
  • Depart on an overnight flight to Europe. Arrive in Europe. Continue onwards to Addis Ababa. On arrival in Addis Ababa you will be met and transferred to your hotel. Overnight Addis Ababa Hilton Hotel.

  • Day 04
  • Today you will begin the city tour with your guide. Visit Mount Enoto and the National Archaeological Museum. Here visitors can see exhibits ranging from the 3.5 million-year-old bones of Lucy, from the Axumite and Gondarene periods through to the period of the monarchs Tewodros and Menelik II. Return to your hotel in the late afternoon. Enjoy the evening at leisure. Overnight Addis Ababa Hilton.

  • Day 05
  • Today you will be transferred by road to Arba Minch. En route visit Tiya stele, an archaeological site which offers 36 standing stones, 32 of which are engraved with symbols, particularly swords. Overnight Paradise Lodge Arbaminch.

  • Day 06-08
  • Today you will be transferred by road to Lumale where your camp is situated. You will spend 3 days visiting the tribes in the area by boat on the Omo River and by vehicle; the precise time in each village depends on what ceremonies are planned and how much time you want to spend with the people you meet. We have left the program flexible to ensure that there is enough time to immerse in these remote and fascinating cultures. 3 nights Lumale Camp.

  • Day 09
  • Today you will be transferred back to Arba Minch en-route visiting Erbore village and stopping at Konso for lunch. Konso is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and its people are known fir their intricately terraced hillsides, fine woven materials and the carved totems with which decorate their graves. Overnight Paradise Lodge Arbaminch.

  • Day 10
  • Today you will be transferred to the Arba Minch Airport for your flight back to Addis where you will be able to visit the Mercato, biggest market, where you can buy everything from livestock to computers. If you are great at bargaining, there is a huge selection of Ethiopian arts and crafts to choose from. Later today you will continue to your hotel. Addis Ababa Hilton.

  • Transfer to the airport for your departing flight. Welcome home!
