This Tanzania safari highlights the Serengeti and the migration of the wildebeest, regardless of what time of the year you travel. The advantage of having a PRIVATE guide and your own vehicle is that you can dictate the schedule each day and this means departing as early or as late as you like. At each of the accommodations you get to meet up with other travelers. There is a combination of a luxury lodge, permanent and mobile tented camps.

  • Day 01
  • Travel.
  • Day 02
  • Arrival in Europe this morning. Onward connecting flight to Kilimanjaro, Tanzania. On arrival this evening you will be met and transferred by road to your hotel in Arusha. Overnight Arusha Coffee Lodge.
  • Day 03+04
  • Drive to Tarangire. Activities include day game drives into the park, nature walk with a Masai guide and an optional night game drive in the inmediate area as well as optional tribal visits and walking. 2 nights Kikoti Camp or Tarangire Treetops Camp.
  • Day 05+06
  • Depart to Gibb's Farm. Lunch will be served at Gibb's Farm. In the afternoon continue to the Ngorongoro Conservation area and your lodge. Next day descend to the crater floor for a morning of game viewing. 2 nights Ngorongoro Farm House.
  • Day 07
  • Continue to the Serengeti stopping en route at Oldupai Gorge for a visit to Richard Leakey's Museum and Archeological site where traces of early man were unearthed. Activities include walking safaris, open vehicle game drives, fly camping, wildlife and bird watching. Overnight Serengeti Private Mobile Tented Camp or Olakira Camp.
  • Day 08-10
  • Enjoy days of game viewing. Your days of game viewing are very flexible. You can take a packed breakfast and leave at sunrise and return to camp for lunch. Or you can depart after breakfast and go for the whole day with a picnic lunch. Please note: If you have selected Olakira Camp, On Day 09+10, you will move to Sayari Camp, located in a different region of the Serengeti, highlighting the seasonal migration of the wildebeest. Activities include walking safaris of 1 hour to three days, open vehicle game drives, fly camping expeditions and exceptional wildlife viewing. 3 nights Serengeti Private Mobile Tented Camp or Sayari South Camp.
  • Day 11
  • Morning game activity before you transfer to the airstrip for your scheduled charter flight to Arusha. On arrival you will be transferred to your lodge where a dayroom has been reserved for you. Enjoy lunch and the afternoon at leisure. This evening, depart for Kilimanjaro Airport for your international flight to Europe. Dayroom: Arusha Coffee Lodge.

  • Connect to your onward flight to U.S.A.
