Itinerary

• Day 01+02
• Depart the USA on your overnight flight to Johannesburg. On arrival you will be met and assisted to the Intercontinental Johannesburg Airport Sun, adjacent to the Arrivals Hall. Overnight InterContinental Johannesburg Airport Sun.

• Day 03-05
• Fly to Maun, Botswana. On arrival you will be met by your pilot and board the aircraft for your scheduled charter flight to your camp. Activities include day and night game drives in open vehicles and guided walks. Enjoy days of game viewing. 3 nights Duba Plains Camp.

• Day 06
• Leave as the sun comes over the horizon and enjoy an early morning game drive. Depart on your scheduled charter flight to your camp situated in the western area, midway between Chobe and the Okavango Delta. Activities include early morning game drives aboard 4x4 Land Cruisers, followed by an open-air "brunch". There is sufficient time to relax by the plunge pool or siesta before afternoon game drives, with sundowners, continuing into a night drive with spotlights. Occasional bush dinners maybe arranged. Short walks from camp or on drives can also be taken. During high water levels of late-May to early October, flat bottom boat rides are offered. Overnight Selinda Camp.

• Day 07
• Enjoy a morning game drive. In the mid-afternoon you will transfer to the starting point of the actual canoe trail. After a briefing, the group starts with a short late afternoon canoe experience before arriving at the evening’s first camp. Overnight Selinda Canoe Trail Camp.

• Day 08
• After an early wake-up call, tea or coffee and light breakfast while the camp is being dismantled, you head out on the canoes for a full day of paddling, with lunch en route and the possibility of stretching your legs if the guide comes across something worth investigating on foot. Tonight you camp in another suitable location as you gradually make your way down the Spillway. Overnight Selinda Canoe Trail Camp.

• Day 09
• An early breakfast once again, as camp is taken down, before you continue along the water course by canoe for another full-day excursion and set up camp for the last night of this trail. Overnight Selinda Canoe Trail Camp.

• Day 10
• Depart after breakfast, aiming to finish at around 10h00-10h30. At this point you are met by the vehicle and transferred by road to your camp. Enjoy an afternoon of activities from camp. Overnight Selinda Camp.

• Day 11+12
• Leave as the sun comes over the horizon and enjoy an early morning game drive. Depart on your scheduled charter flight to Maun. Connect with the scheduled inter-Africa flight to Johannesburg. Continue onward overnight to the USA. Welcome home!
