This is a perfect introductory wildlife safari at value price for the first time traveler to Africa. You stay mostly in lodges and one permanent tented camp. One flight is included to enjoy the African scenery including the Great Rift Valley and exclude the long drive from the Serengeti. Though it includes Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater, we love the fact that you visit Tarangire National Park, which is one of the most scenic parks in Tanzania.

Day 01
Travel.
Day 02
Arrival in Kilimanjaro, overnight Serena Mountain Village, Arusha.
Day 03+04
Drive to Tarangire National Park. Enjoy morning and afternoon game drives in the park. 2 nights Tarangire Sopa Lodge.
Day 05
Continue to Lake Manyara National Park and your lodge where you will enjoy lunch. This afternoon you will have a game drive in the park. Overnight Lake Manyara Serena Safari Lodge.
Day 06+07
Proceed this morning to Gibb's Farm where you will enjoy a hike to the waterfalls followed lunch. This afternoon continue to your lodge located on the rim of the Ngorongoro Crater. Enjoy the evening at leisure. Next morning depart to the Crater Rim and descend with a packed breakfast for a morning of game viewing on the crater floor. Have lunch at a lodge and continue on an afternoon visit to a remote Maasai village. 2 nights Ngorongoro Serena Safari Lodge.
Day 08-10
Continue to the Serengeti stopping en route at Olduvai Gorge for a visit to Richard Leakey's Museum and Archeological Site where traces of early man were unearthed. Proceed to Serengeti National Park through the vast African Plains. You will arrive at your lodge early or later afternoon depending on how much time you spend game viewing enroute. Enjoy two days of game viewing. An optional balloon safari can be arranged one morning. 3 nights Mbuzi Mawe Camp or Serengeti Shared Safari Camp.
Day 11+12
After a morning activity you will be transferred by to the airstrip for your scheduled charter flight to Arusha. Onward to your hotel where a dayroom has been reserved. An optional visit of town and the opportunity for some last minute shopping can be arranged. Dayroom: Serena Mountain Village.
