Uganda is a country that is still unspoiled by tourism and where you explore the forested areas for chimpanzees and Mountain Gorilla. The group is up to six persons and the price of the program includes 2 chimp and 2 gorilla permits. Your purchase of gorilla permits is an important donation to the conservation of their habitat.

  • Day 01+02
  • Travel. Overnight Kampala Serena Hotel.

  • Day 03
  • Arrival in Entebbe. On arrival you will be met by your guide and vehicle and drive to Kibale Forest (7 hours) with lunch en route. Overnight Ndali Lodge or Kibale Primate Lodge.

  • Day 04
  • Drive Kibale Forest, treks for chimpanzees and other primates, overnight Ndali Lodge or Kibale Primate Lodge.

  • Day 05
  • Drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park, afternoon game drive to camp. Overnight at Mweya Lodge.
  •  
  • Day 06
  • Morning game drive. Mid morning board the launch for a cruise on Kazinga Channel. Return to the lodge for lunch. A second chimpanzee trek can be arranged at Kyambura Gorge. Overnight Mweya Lodge.

  • Day 07-09
  • Morning walk or optional visit to bat caves. Drive to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park - home to Mountain Gorillas and other rare primates. Two days of gorilla trekking. 3 nights Gorilla Forest Camp.

  • Day 10
  • Drive to Mbarara. If time permits, visit local market, where everything imaginable is on sale. Overnight Mihingo Lodge.

  • Day 11+12
  • Depart by road to Entebbe. Transfer to the airport for an afternoon flight to Nairobi. Onward overnight flight.
