South Africa is commonly promoted as “A World In One Country”, with two oceans, subtropical savannah, arid scrubland, deserts, and the impressive Drakensberg Mountains, this is easy to believe. This large country is rich in natural beauty and wildlife diversity and covers about 4% of the African continent's land surface. Your itinerary focuses on a real wildlife experience and you will have the opportunity to see the “Big 5”. You will stay at a Private Game Reserve, where you will take day and night game drives and escorted bush walks. It is possible to do a cultural village visit at one or two of the lodges.   • Depart the USA on your overnight flight to Johannesburg.

  • Day 02
  • Arrival in Johannesburg, continue on the scheduled inter-Africa flight to Cape Town. On arrival you will be met and transferred to your hotel. Overnight Welgelegen Guest House, Four Rosmead or Radisson Blu Hotel Waterfront.

  • Day 03-05
  • You will be picked up at your hotel for your scheduled group full-day Peninsula tour. Travel along Atlantic seaboard to view the Twelve Apostles and the beach of Camps Bay. Drive along Chapmans Peak Drive, one of the finest scenic coastal drives in the world. Continue to the Cape of Good Hope, the most south western point of the African continent. Onward to Boulders Beach to study the African Penguin. Enjoy days 04+05 at leisure. 3 nights Welgelegen, Four Rosmead or Radisson Blu Hotel Waterfront.

  • Day 06-09
  • This morning you will be transferred to the airport for your scheduled inter-Africa flight to Mpumalanga. On arrival, you will board your scheduled charter flight to your camp in a private game reserve near Kruger Sabi Sands. You will be met by game rangers and drive to your lodge. Activities include morning and afternoon/night game drives and guided walks. Enjoy three full days of game viewing. 4 nights Tanda Tula Tented Camp in Timbavati or MalaMala Main Camp in Sabi Sands or Londolozi Varty Camp in Sabi Sands.

  • Based on Tanda Tula - This morning you will be transferred by road to Hoedspruit for your scheduled flight to Johannesburg. Based on MalaMala or Londolozi - Transfer to the airstrip for your scheduled charter flight to Mpumalanga. Continue on the scheduled inter-Africa flight to Johannesburg. Depart on your overnight international flight to the USA. Welcome home!
