  • Day 01
  • On arrival you will be met and transferred to your hotel situated near the town of Arusha. Overnight Arusha Coffee Lodge.
  • Day 02
  • This morning enjoy a tour of the coffee plantation. Continue by road (2 hours+) to your lodge in Karatu passing through Lake Manyara National Park and the market place, Mto wa Mbu. Here you may enjoy purchasing a few items of local produce. On arrival at Gibbs Farm you will have lunch served on the terrace. The organic garden at Gibb’s Farm is the backbone to the gourmet meals served. Tour the farm (cow milking) and organic gardens and have a lesson in African cooking. Dinner will be the fruits of your labor as you dine on what you cooked. (If time permits you may want to add an extra night here to include the Irawq center). Overnight Gibb's Farm.
  • Day 03+04
  • Depart after breakfast and drive a short distance to your next lodge, a base from which to visit the Ngorongoro Crater. In your down time, you can enjoy the wine cellar, boutique, horseback riding, biking, coffee tasting and tours of the estate. First afternoon you will have a wine and cheese tasting. Next morning depart to the Crater Rim and descend with a packed breakfast for a morning of game viewing on the crater floor. A gourmet “hot” lunch will be served on the crater rim hosted by a fabulous chef/the camp managers from the Manor. 2 nights The Manor at Ngorongoro.

  • Day 06+07
  • During your stay at this exclusive camp you will have one hosted dinner and a class on African Safari gourmet cooking outdoors. The new tasting menu provides guests with an opportunity to learn more about local fare with dishes like “mtori,” a traditional soup from the Kilimanjaro region made from onions, green bananas and red meat and other local staples like “Nyama choma,” a form of barbecued meat. Dishes are served with local beverages including “dawa,” a vodka cocktail infused with lime and honey as well as a selection of Tanzanian beers including Tusker, Kilimanjaro and Serengeti. Typical Swahili spices and local honey are used extensively in the cuisine at all of Singita’s four lodges in the Grumeti Reserves. Many dishes use organic home grown vegetables sourced from local villages that are part of various community support projects run by the Singita Grumeti Fund. Overnights Singita Explore.
