The Africa Adventure Company

08 Day Mother Africa Voluntourism to Zimbabwe - $1,995.00

The uniqueness of this project arises from its truly magnificent ecological surroundings coupled with the nature of the community within which you will work. Zimbabwe is a country rich in wildlife and your time will be spent in the conservation field of Hwange National Park and also helping out in the villages and schools near Matobo Hills, Bulawayo. The communities you will work with are financially underprivileged, and whose income generally goes straight from hand to mouth. Mother Africa was established with the intention of assisting these communities to become more self sufficient, better educated and through your help to receive a better quality of life.

Please note – this itinerary is just a general outline as the daily activities may change depending on the time of year or ongoing projects.

The park is divided into two sections — a general recreational area, with popular pony trails, and a game reserve. Part of the park is an IPZ (Intensive Protection Zone) and contains one of the highest concentrations of black and white rhino in Africa. Next moring enjoy breakfast between 7:00-7:30 am.
