Itinerary

• Day 01
• On arrival in the Mfuwe airport you will be met by a representative and driven to Tafika. This afternoon the camp manager will meet with you to help you decide on your afternoon activity; a walk, or a game-drive, or even game viewing by bicycle. There is also the opportunity to visit local village. Overnight Tafika Camp.

• Day 02
• Early morning wake up and then depart on a guided walk or game drive. You might even like to try an early morning micro-light flight (available for an extra charge) gliding above the river. Return mid to late morning to freshen up before a delicious Tafika lunch and siesta. This afternoon you will have the option to go on a game drive or guided walk. Overnight Tafika Camp.

• Day 03
• After breakfast today, with only your camera and binoculars to carry, you will leave Tafika and begin your journey on foot to the Chikoko Trails bush camps. Mid afternoon, meet for tea before the start of your afternoon walk for a chance to look for more game and experience the sights, sounds and scents of the bush. Overnight Chikoko Tree Camp or Crocodile Bush Camp.

• Day 04
• Enjoy another morning walk (usually lasting approx 4 hours) after an early breakfast. Your second night may either be spent at the same camp or you may use your morning walk to transfer to our other bush camp, on the Chikoko Trails. Overnight Chikoko Tree Camp or Crocodile Bush Camp.

• Day 05
• Enjoy a day of morning and afternoon walks based from your bush camp. (Please note, you will not be changing camps today). Return at dusk for a sundowner and enjoy a refreshing hot shower before dinner under the stars with your fellow guests and guide. Overnight Chikoko Tree Camp or Crocodile Bush Camp.

• Day 06
• The walk on your last morning will take you to a river crossing where you will be transferred to a waiting vehicle and transported to the airstrip; a journey of approximately 30 minutes. Transfer to Mfuwe airport.
