Selemani was born in Mwanza. After completing primary school he joined the Tanzania Army where he trained in engineering.
In 1983 he began his guiding career and worked with several companies before joining Ranger in 1996. We are proud to have him as one of our AAC team of naturalist guides. His brother, Omari, is also one of our popular Tanzania guides!
He is married and has ten children. His hobbies include sports, especially martial arts, reading and traveling.
