Our reputation is based on promoting top naturalist guides...
Daniel was born in Tanzania in 1973 and has been guiding since 1997. He earned his Ranger Training Certificate and his First Aid Certificate in the 1990's while he was also guiding. In 2001 he passed his Ranger Training – level 2 and went on that year to earn the Skills Development and Guiding from South Africa. He has continued his education with courses in Fundamentals of Ornithology, a Certificate of Merit in Advanced Field Guide Training Program and is certified as a Safarist Extraordinaire. He has worked as a camps ranger, leading group scheduled departures and now private guiding.
When he is not guiding, he enjoys spending time with his wife and two children, Isabela and Masha Daniel Jr. He also enjoys reading (especially wildlife articles), listening to music and watching soccer.
What made the safari so successful may be attributed to our guides/drivers: Mkenda, Robert, George, and Daniel. They were superb! They were knowledgeable, informative, openly friendly, and very professional. And they all worked so hard to see that everything ran smoothly, that we saw as much wildlife as possible (their ability to spot an animal in the distance or camouflaged nearby was truly remarkable), that we were safely transported from one camp to another despite the bumpy roads (it was sometimes fun, actually). Their rapport and interaction with the children were enjoyable to watch as well as heartwarming. And the kids actually paid attention to their narratives, as they were able to answer correctly when they were quizzed later.Read More
