Clemence was born in Arusha and attended Arusha Primary School and Ilboru Secondary School. He entered 3 years at Tukuyu Teachers College graduating with a Teacher's certificate. He continued with education and went onto Mt Meru Tour Guide School for 2 years where he graduated with an Advanced Certificate in Wildlife and Botany (1996).
His professional career began in the Selous Game Reserve as a driver guide. Completing his time there, Clemence gained much knowledge and experience and came to Arusha to work with some ground operators. This work took him to all the Tanzanian National Parks and Game Reserves as well as giving him experience and knowledge of the Kenyan Parks. Clemence joined us in 2000 and has expanded his knowledge and experience greatly.
He is married with two children, Richard (born March 1999) and Nancy (born May 2001). His interests include reading novels, playing football (soccer), traveling, social interaction, swimming and listening to the radio and watching TV.
