Tongabezi Lodge

Classic A deluxe lodge or tented camp, almost all with swimming pools, excellent food and service, large nicely appointed rooms or tents with comfortable beds and tasteful decor; most of the lodges have air-conditioning and the tents are usually fan-cooled.

Tongabezi is an exclusive lodge on the banks of the Zambezi River upstream from Victoria Falls. Accommodating a maximum of 22 guests, there are four larger cottages called the Tree, Honeymoon, Dog and Bird Houses each with elevated views of the river. There are five, smaller river cottages situated along the river bank as well as a private house, Tangala. Each house and cottage at Tongabezi has its own valet who will be with you throughout your stay to make the most of all the comforts. The main lodge and dining room have sweeping views of the river and the swimming pool is hewn out of rock.

There are so many exciting activities included in your stay, such as a visit to Victoria Falls on the Zambian side, canoeing on the Zambezi River, island lunch, sampan floating candlelit dinner, visit to Mukuni Park, sunrise and sunset boating trips, visit Simonga Village, guided bush walk, fishing, game drives and Livingstone Museum tour.
