Tarangire Treetops Camp is located just outside the border of the park overlooking the Tarangire Sand River and can offer magnificent views of the resident elephant herd. It is set in a private reserve of 44,000 acres and also has easy access to Tarangire National Park. Each of the twenty treetop-tents has thatched-roofs and en suite bathrooms facilities and a private deck built around one of the baobab and wild fig trees. Activities include shared guided walks, day game drives into the park and shared night game drives on the private reserve.
"The lodges and camps were awesome! My favorite was the Treetops Lodge. (almost left the safari to stay there indefinitely). The most telling aspect was the SERVICES rendered at each locale. The services were so professional...no obsequiousness, condescension, haughtiness, or the like; only friendliness and a seemingly genuine desire to please and make our visit as pleasant and memorable as possible. That is a great selling point."
