Gibb's Farm is a charming lodge that has retained the atmosphere of a working farm that is located between Lake Manyara and Ngorongoro Conservation area. Gibbs Farm is a real slice of old Africa, a genuine colonial farmhouse. The farm is a sanctuary for the senses and the ideal respite during your safari. There are 5 standard cottages and 17 cottages, each with en suite bathrooms set among the gardens. The main facilities consist of a sitting room, reading room, dining room (which serves fresh, home-cooked meals), bar and gift shop and are all in the old farmhouse.
"Gibb’s Farm: This was a pleasant break mid-way with lovely rooms, beautiful gardens, and excellent food. I took the walk with Mkenda and a local ranger to the elephant cave and waterfall and it was an interesting 4-5 mile round trip on the ground. With my forestry background we had a lot of good conversation about the trees along the way. While I did that, Adelaide was with the artist in residence."
