Jabulani

Premium An extremely luxurious lodge or permanent tented camp (five-star) with superb cuisine and excellent service, swimming pool and, many of them, with a private “plunge” pool (small swimming pool) for each chalet or tent. Lodges and chalets are air-conditioned, while the tents may be air-conditioned or fan-cooled.

Jabulani is located within the 32,123 acre Kapama Private Game Reserve near Hoedspruit. The lodge features six secluded rondavels, each with an individual splash pool, private viewing deck, lounge with fireplace, air-conditioning, heating and ceiling fans, double vanity, Victorian bathtub and outside shower. The camp offers gym and spa facilities, as well as telephone, fax and email facilities for those who need them. The reserve enjoys panoramic views of the nearby Drakensberg mountain range and is only 25 miles from Kruger National Park.

Activities include day and night game drives, bush walks, bird-watching and a visit to the Hoedspruit Endangered Species Center where they have a facility for cheetah conservation. Enjoy the “Elephant Experience” which includes observing the herd in close proximity while in their natural environment.

For guests staying two nights or more, please enquire about the Pioneer for Change Program. This is an exciting interactive program at the HESC where you will be able to have a “hands on” experience preparing the food for the cheetah, wild dogs, vultures and smaller cat species at the Center. Volunteers will be able to visit the animal hospital and meet with resident vet who will describe the challenges when rehabilitating orphaned and injured animals. (No children under 12)
