Sossusvlei Wilderness Camp

Sossusvlei Wilderness Camp is built near the top of a mountain overlooking vast open plains. There are nine bungalows with en suite bathrooms. Each chalet has a splash pool incorporated into the private wooden deck. The main living area is under thatch. There is a platform area where guests can enjoy drinks and dinner under the stars.

Activities include a day visit to the Sossusvlei dunes, desert breakfasts under the camel-thorn acacia trees, and a visit to the Sesriem Canyon. Late afternoon activities are taken on the private reserve, adjacent to Sossusvlei, taking in the desert scenery, the flora and perhaps a chance to see the animals like springbok, gemsbok and ostrich that survive in this harsh environment. Optional activities include balloon safaris and horse rides.
