Sand Rivers Camp

Sand Rivers is built on the north bank of the Rufiji River and offers eight luxury chalets overlooking the Rufiji River. From the lodge you will be able to get a superb all round experience of the bush –from watching the wildlife from your veranda to walking in the bush to fly camping over night or becoming involved in the Black Rhino conservation project which the lodge set up a short distance away.

The lodge is spectacularly placed to offer combinations of game drive, walking and river safaris with resident guides. And the flexible attitude means that you can pretty much do what you want when you want, so long as it’s within park rules. Each evening you'll have a chance to discuss and plan your activities for the following day with your guide. The camp has a swimming pool to cool off in during hot African days.
