San Camp is located on the edge of the Makgadikgadi Pans, the largest salt pan in the world. The camp consists of 6 large walk-in canvas tents on slightly elevated wooden platforms with private facilities located close to each tent.
Activities are led by knowledgeable guides and conducted in open 4x4 vehicles, custom-designed for this terrain. Also available are all-purpose, all-terrain vehicles -a four wheeler motorcycle, which allows guests to travel across the salt pans. Walks with a bushman tracker and visits to historical baobab trees used by Livingstone and Selous are options available.
