Klein's Camp, Northern Serengeti, Tanzania

Klein's Camp is situated on a 25,000 acre private conservation area, bordered on the west by Serengeti National Park and the north by the Masai Mara. There are ten cottages made of rock and thatch with rich wooden floors and serene, classic interiors. The round stone walls of the cottages and polished wooden floors offset the soft cream and gossamer interiors. As in days gone by, water for the shower of your en suite stone bathroom is warmed each evening by a roaring fire under the tank while you enjoy quiet sundowner drinks on your private veranda. Escorted by the quiet, regal Maasai, dinner waits in the lantern-lit dining room overlooking the valley below.

The lounge area also has stunning views of the valleys below. The camp has a large bar/living area a short walk downhill from the dining room. A fire place graces the dining area which is elevated above the lounge area, and a short walk from the reception and curio shop and gallery. The camp also boasts a swimming pool and leisure deck. Activities here include both day and night game drives, as well as escorted walks in the private concession area. You may have the opportunity to visit a Masai village seldom visited by tourists.
