Hoanib Skeleton Coast Camp

Hoanib Skeleton Coast Camp is located in a private concession straddling the Palmwag area and Skeleton Coast National Park, in one of the most remote areas of the Kaokoveld. The land offers rugged scenery, including a historic coastline, mountains, vast plains, and dry riverbeds inhabited by desert-adapted plant and animal life. Despite the arid environs, one of the greatest concentrations of desert elephant and lion can be found within this unique area – along with sightings of giraffe, antelope, black rhino, leopard and cheetah.

Hoanib Skeleton Coast Camp, located next to the wildlife-rich Hoanib River, is a new Classic level camp with 7 standard tents and 1 family tent. Proposed activities will include nature walks, game drives, dune drives, use of hides, exploratory day excursions and coastal visits (Please note – activity specifics are still to be determined).
