Desroches Island Lodge

Desroches Island Resort is one of those places on Earth that would be described as “paradise”. The small island (only 6 km long and 1 km wide) is home to acres of coconut palms and 14 km of white sandy beaches. The only lodge on the island, is made up of 20 Junior Suites, each with king size beds, a private terrace with a sea view, air-conditioning and ceiling fan, mini-bar, ensuite bathroom as well as an outdoor shower/tube for those who like to a “back to nature” experience.

The Resort has two restaurants, serving delicious Creole cuisine, both with spectacular views of the sea. Bar L’Amirante overlooks the swimming pool and sea and provides the perfect place to enjoy a cocktail while watching the sun set.

Guests have numerous activities to enjoy including complimentary windsurfing, pedal boats, kayaks, canoes, snorkeling in the turquoise lagoon directly off the resort’s property, tennis and bicycles. There is a spa offering Asian massage techniques. For dive enthusiasts Desroches Island offers some of the best diving sites in the Seychelles, all less than 20 minutes from the resort. Big game fishing and boat excursions to neighboring islands can also be arranged.
