Campi Ya Kanzi Tented Camp

Campi Ya Kanzi is located on a 250,000-acre (100,000-hectare) Masai Group Ranch surrounded by Chyulu, Tsavo and Amboseli National Parks, and stretching to the foothills of Mount Kilimanjaro. The landscape is quite varied from lush forests to riverine forest and savannah grasslands, as the altitude ranges from 3,000-6,900 feet. Wildlife includes elephant, lion, cheetah, lesser kudu, fringe-eared oryx, gerenuk and mountain reedbuck. Over 400 species of birds have been recorded.

The experience at Campi Ya Kanzi is focused on the Masai community who live in the area. Trips are taken to visit their villages, and you will spend time absorbing the issues of conservation and eco-tourism.

The camp has six spacious tents with ensuite bathrooms. Each tent has a verandah with a view overlooking Tsavo Hills and Mt. Kilimanjaro in the background. Activities at this family-run lodge include day and night game drives, escorted walks with the Masai trackers, Masai cultural visits, and excursions to Tsavo West, Chyulu and Amboseli National Parks.
