Camp Jabulani is located within the 13,000 hectare Kapama Private Game Reserve near Hoedspruit in the Limpopo Province. The reserve enjoys panoramic views of the nearby Drakensberg mountain range and is only 40 km from the Kruger National Park. This camp offers guests opulent accommodation along with the opportunity to have an unforgettable wildlife experience including interaction with the specially trained herd of 13 elephants. The fully trained elephants arrived at Kapama after being relocated from Zimbabwe.
The camp has just six secluded rondavels, each an elegantly appointed, luxurious suite offering an individual splash pool and private viewing deck, lounge with fireplace, air-conditioning, heating and ceiling fans, double vanity, Victorian bath and outside shower. The unique architecture of the central meeting and dining accommodation is carefully complemented by stylish furnishings that reflect the rich textures of Africa. In addition to the serenity of the bush, the camp offers gym and spa facilities, as well as telephone, fax and email facilities for those who need them.
Activities include day and night elephant-back safaris, morning and evening game drives, bush walks, bird-watching and a visit to the Hoedspruit Endangered Species Center where they have a facility for cheetah conservation.
